abstract |
The present invention provides a varistor assembly which is capable of achieving good surge resistance while reducing electrostatic capacitance. This varistor assembly comprises a plurality of varistor elements (100) which are connected in parallel, each varistor element including a sintered body obtained by sintering a layered body in which varistor layers and inner electrodes are alternately stacked and a pair of external electrodes provided in a state in which inner electrodes are alternately connected thereto at least at both end faces of each sintered body. The varistor elements (100) are configured to include at least a plurality of first group varistor elements (100) for which the value obtained by dividing the surface area of the sintered body by the volume of the sintered body is 1.9 mm -1 or more. |
