Described herein, an anhydrous cosmetic composition includes a first water-absorbing component comprising a mixture of a superabsorbent polymer and a polyquaternium; a second water-absorbing component selected from the group consisting of starch particles, a stearate component, and mixtures thereof; a malodour-controlling component; a cosmetically acceptable carrier; and wherein the anhydrous cosmetic composition is essentially free of aluminum-based antiperspirant actives. |
