abstract Noise-attenuating devices, such as acoustic liners, and associated methods of manufacture are disclosed herein. The noise-attenuating devices have a perforated facing sheet with a coating applied thereto. The coating defines an exposed surface for direct exposure to the environment in which noise attenuation is desired. The coating also defines a flared entrance to one or more of the holes.
