abstract | In the prior art, fluid conduits are investigated with regard to critical contaminations and, to do this, a branched-off fluid stream from a fluid conduit is investigated. For the purpose of the investigation, image recognition is carried out, using which possibly detected germs in the fluid stream can be proved. However, such investigations are often very costly since the in-situ evaluations require a high computing capacity, and expensive devices must therefore be available at every sampling position. The invention therefore proposes a two-stage evaluation method in which a simple process computer carries out a rough real-time preliminary analysis and, in the event of suspicious results, transmits the captured images to a central data processing unit. This unit carries out a detailed analysis in order to clarify these results. If critical objects are actually detected, an alarm is triggered and a sample is immediately taken from the monitored fluid stream. |
