abstract |
This sliding mechanism is provided with: a cylinder bore having an iron-based thermally sprayed film; and a piston having a piston ring covered by a hard film containing carbon as a main component. Moreover, the thermally sprayed film contains diamond abrasive grains; the surface area percentage of the diamond abrasive grains in the thermally sprayed film surface is 0.3 to 1.8%; and wear of the piston ring having the hard film containing carbon as a main component can be controlled. |
