| abstract | A message handling node (120) of a farm management system receives error messages (e1, e2, e3, e4, e5,…, en) from a num- ber of automatic devices (111, 112, 113, 114, 115, …, 11n), for example included in the at least one milking installation. Based thereon, the message handling node (120) generates and sends out error reports (Erep) to user terminals (151, 152). The messa- ge handling node (120) applies a rules system (RS) prescribing that an error report (Erep) in respect of a particular one (111) of the automatic devices be generated based on the fulfillment of a frequency criterion relating to a number of times at which the message handling node (120) receives the error messages (e1) from said particular one device (111) within at least one previous period (P1, P2). Thus, for example, a total number of error re- ports received by each of the user terminals (151, 152) can be reduced significantly. |
