abstract |
This invention relates to a process for making amines having a high yield weight percent of linear tetraethylenepentamine (L-TEPA) and hydroxyethyldiethylenetriamine (HEDETA) by condensing an amino compound in the presence of a condensation catalyst selected from a Group IVB metal oxide, a Group VIB metal-containing substance and a promoted condensation catalyst. This invention also relates to an alkyleneamines producers composition rich in L-TEPA and HEDETA. |
