titleOfInvention Pump for biological liquids
abstract The invention relates to a pump for biological liquids, for example, for blood pumping. The pump according to the invention includes a casing (1) in which are mounted at least one elastic tube (3) for passing the biological liquid and a working head (5) rotated in the direction of pumping of the liquid and provided with at least one roller element (6) pressing the tube (3), the roller element (or each of the rolling elements) comprising at least two rollers (7, 8) mounted in series so that the roller (7) of the roller element (6), which is the first along the direction of rotation of the working head provides for a gap inside the tube (3) larger than that provided by the following roller (8) of the same element (6). The pump has simple and convenient means for adjusting the degree of the deformation of the tube (3) by the rollers (7, 8) and provides for pumping the blood practically without damaging the blood cells.
