abstract | A herbicide contains a) one or several herbicidal salicylic acid derivates having formulae (Ia) or (Ib), in which Z stands for =N- and =CH-; Y stands for -O-, -S- and -NR4-; X stands for =O, =N-R?5, =NO-R5¿, =N-NH-R5 and =N-N(R5)2; R1 stands for H, succinyliminooxy, alkyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, possibly substituted heteroaryl, -OR6, -Om-NR7R8, -NH-SO¿2?-R?9; R2, R3¿ stand for halogen, alkyl, halogenalkyl, alkoxy, halogenalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylamino and dialkylamino; R stands for Cl, possibly substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsufonyl, phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenylsulfonyl, heteroaryl, naphthyl, quinolinyl, quinazolinyl or -C(=X')-R1'; R' stands for H or R' and R together stand for 1,3-butadien-1,4-yl; A stands for =N-, =N(←O)- or =CR''-.
