The invention concerns a composition containing 35 to 99 % by wt. of a diamagnetic and/or antiferromagnetic metal-containing compound and 1 to 65 % by wt. of a polymer of the formula (I) HO-{-CO-R1-CO-X-Y-Z-}n-H- in which R1 is phenyl, naphthyl, cyclohexyl, cyclohexenyl or a C1 to C4 alkyl-substituted derivative thereof and, if R1 is phenyl, the carboxy groups are in the ortho, meta or para position with respect to each other, X and Z are O or NR2 where R2 is H or C1 to C4 alkyl, Y is (CH2)m or phenyl, cyclohexyl or cyclopentyl and m is 1 to 12 and n is a whole number. The invention also concerns a method of producing the composition, a moulded article made of the composition, the manufacture of such articles and the use of the composition. |
