A skin care composition comprising: (a) a silicone-containing phase comprising cross-linked polyorganosiloxane polymer and silicone oil, wherein the composition comprises from about 0.1 % to about 20 % by weight of the combination of cross-linked polyorganosiloxane polymer and silicone oil; (b) from about 0.1 % to about 20 % by weight of an organic liquid crystal-forming amphiphilic surfactant; and (c) water; wherein the composition is in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion. The compositions of the invention provide improved skin feel, reduced greasiness/stickiness and faster absorption. |
