Hydrogen peroxide adducts of phosphine oxides and equivalents for As, Sb and Bi and or phosphonates and phosphinates. Methods of preparation of said adducts by reaction of hydrogen peroxide on the phosphine oxides, equivalents for As, Sb, and Bi and on phosphonates and phosphinates. Methods of preparation of phosphine oxides and their equivalents for As, Sb and Bi and phosphinates as intermediate products for the preparation of said adducts by five different routes: oxidation of phosphinites or arsinites with hydrogen peroxide; oxidation of phosphines and arsines with hydrogen peroxide; reaction of arsenic or antimony halides with a Grignard reagent; reaction of phosphorus, arsenic or bismuth oxyhalides with a Grignard reagent; esterification of an alcohol with an organo-phosphinic, -arsinic, -stibinic or-bismuthinic halide. Process for performing electrophilic oxidations of organic groups, including in particular alkenes, using catalysed hydrogen peroxide in which said adducts are the catalytic intermediate complexes formed in situ or ex situ. |
