Disclosed is a conditioning shampoo composition comprising by weight: (a) from about 0.05 % to about 50 % of a polyhydrophilic anionic surfactant; (b) from about 0.05 % to about 20 % of a cationic conditioning agent selected from the group consisting of cationic surfactants, cationic polymers, and mixtures thereof; (c) from about 0.2 % to about 10 % of a betaine conditioning agent; and (d) an aqueous carrier. |
