A method of manufacturing a clad material effective for small electronics such as an anode case and a cathode case for a button type micro cell which is comparatively small in plate thickness and requires deep drawing, comprising, in addition to the conventional method of manufacturing clad materials, the steps of a cold rolling at a draft of 30 % or less so as to enable a reduction in a difference between r values (Lankford value) showing plastic anisotropies of the clad material in a rolling joining direction and a direction having a specified angle relative to the rolling joining direction, whereby the mechanical strength of the clad material is substantially increased and the clad material less in drawing anisotropy can be provided on a mass-production scale. |
