To facilitate research on differentiated cell types and other biomedical investigations, the Aging Cell Repository offers highly characterized human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) lines. These hiPSCs were created using a variety of reprogramming techniques* and are suitable for use in cell differentiation, disease models, drug discovery, genotyping, and as experimental controls.
We have developed rigorous scientific practices to maintain, characterize, bank, and distribute only the highest quality iPSCs available. Our laboratories perform the most stringent quality control testing on all samples, including:
A complete Certificate of Analysis (CofA) specifies pluripotency characterizations that were performed for each hiPSC, including images and quantitative test results.
Available with each line is a protocol which outlines the proper steps for successful handling of the hiPSC. Additional information is also found on the CofA, including necessary media components, substrates, passage methods, and split ratios.
