Hulbury may be based on Liverpool, with the statue of the two Toxtricity that protect the town being likely based on the Liver bird. The Maximizers, the Hulbury-based band that plays during the ending credits, appears to be an homage to The Beatles, a popular Liverpool band during the 60s.
