Mighty Pokémon (Japanese: つよいポケモン) are Pokémon that can appear in Pokémon GO. They have certain properties that are distinct from other Pokémon players can encounter. During an encounter with a mighty Pokémon, its CP value is replaced with "!!!".

Properties

Mighty Pokémon have the following properties:[1]

  • They are more likely to have higher IVs.
  • They are more likely to be XL or XXL.
  • They are more difficult to capture, which can be attenuated by using a Safari Ball.
