Trivia
Only one of this Pikachu can be used in Battle Mode at any one time.
Origin
This Pikachu is based on Ash's Pikachu from the Pokémon anime. Pikachu wears Ash's hat when used in Battle Mode, and an image of Ash is present instead of Pikachu when it uses an attack. The Japanese Pocket Monsters: XY&Z logo is also present on the artwork. Thunderbolt is a move that Pikachu can learn in the games and is a move that Ash's Pikachu knows in the anime.
