Rising Voltage (Japanese: ライジングボルト Rising Volt) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation VIII. In Generation IX, it is one of the signature moves of Raging Bolt.

Effect

Rising Voltage deals damage. If the target is affected by Electric Terrain upon the move's execution, Rising Voltage's base power is doubled to 140.

SV The user attacks with electricity rising from the ground. This move's power is doubled if the target is on Electric Terrain.

Luxray Luxray releases a series of upwards-rising lightning bolts from its body at the opponent. When the bolts reach the opponent, they combine together into a pillar of electricity, damaging the opponent. If used while Electric Terrain is active, the attack's power is increased.
