Gravvy (Japanese: ゴロすけ Golosuke), is a Golem that Yellow owns in Pokémon Adventures. Yellow was given Gravvy as a gift from Brock; he is her fifth Pokémon overall. As of A Well-Journeyed Jumpluff, he is level 39 and his Characteristic is "a little quick tempered."
History
Red, Green & Blue arc
With Brock
Gravvy first appeared as a Graveler under Brock's ownership in Onix Is On!, watching some Trainers attempt to work their way through Brock's gym.
Yellow arc
Graveler reappeared in As Gastly as Before, being sent out by Brock to try and pull down Super Nerd Miles from a sinister black fog. The dark fog revealed itself to be a Gastly and shook him off. After the Gastly was defeated by Blue, Brock gave Graveler to Yellow so she could better protect herself.
With Yellow
In Ekans the Ecstasy, Yellow used Gravvy's massive strength to hold together the two sinking pieces of the S.S. Anne, with Yellow threatening to drop the ship on the Team Rocket Elite Trio Ken, Al, and Harry if they refused to surrender.
In Eradicate Raticate!, Gravvy was sent out alongside his teammates to battle against Lance and his Dragonite. Gravvy attacked, but Dragonite simply shrugs him off and threw him away.
In the final battle against Lance in The Might of... Metapod?!, after Yellow lost the Pokédex, Gravvy evolved into a Golem to gain more power. He then assisted in defeating Lance's team, blocking a Slam attack from his Dragonair with Defense Curl.
FireRed & LeafGreen arc
Gravvy appeared alongside the rest of Yellow's team in Bested by Banette, ready to battle against Sird.
Emerald arc
Gravvy made his most recent appearance in The Final Battle VII, battling Guile Hideout's stolen Battle Tower Pokémon.
Personality and characteristics
When Yellow first got Gravvy, he was very aggressive towards her, ignoring her commands and attacking her. This was due to the fact that he originally belonged to a powerful Gym Leader and Yellow had yet to prove herself to him. This also related to his evolution, as Yellow didn’t full believe Gravvy belonged to her, and thus prevented his evolution from happening. Over time, however, the two have developed a loving relationship and now Gravvy follows his Trainer's commands without hesitation. He is one of Yellow's most powerful Pokémon and has shown massive amounts of strength, such as holding up a sinking ship with ease.
