Deletion of images

Dear Érico, I am contacting you to request your assistance with wiki commons. I have tried to upload several images, but they always get deleted. The last image I uploaded was from www.flickr.com and had no copyright restrictions. The image was of a painting by artist Luc Tuymans. Also, the image is of historically significant artwork, the image is only being used for informational and educational purposes, the image is readily available on the internet, and the image is a low-resolution copy of the original artwork and is unsuitable for commercial use.

The image is meant to be added to the artist's wiki page. Without illustrations of some of the works of the artist, the page poorly documents the work of this artist.

Olá Érico, tudo bem?

Queria muito carregar essa imagem para utilizar em um artigo, no Flickr ela está ok com CC BY-SA 2.0, mas a categoria do artista tem um aviso sobre os direitos autorais das obras, pela morte dele ainda ser recente. Verifiquei se poderia ser incluído como liberdade de panorama, mas se entendi direito a Itália é bastante rígida em relação a isso, e o Vaticano utiliza as leis italianas. Porém, vi que foi feito um acordo com o governo italiano para a realização de uma edição do Wiki Loves Monuments, mas eu não consegui entender se o acordo se aplicou apenas para aquele ano, se é permanente, se ainda é válido, enfim, não consegui encontrar uma maneira clara que permita o upload. Será que você conhece alguma outra possibilidade, ou é possível utilizar alguma dessas que citei? Agradeço a ajuda, pois estou perdidíssimo. Abraços! Sinceramente, não sou especialista neste assunto e poucas vezes carreguei imagens que envolvessem essas políticas.

No entanto, pelo que entendi, o acordo firmado com o governo italiano não seria aplicável pois a) teria que retroceder e incluir imagens diversas (isto é, não relacionadas ao concurso) e b) não sei até que ponto o governo italiano teria competência para substituir as autoridades do Vaticano nesta questão.

Então, fui ver na categoria do artista e achei esta imagem, de uma obra do artista no Vaticano. Já possui sete anos e ninguém questionou... Ainda assim, eu preferiria carregar na ptwiki via URC porque as circunstâncias são mais negativas à hipótese da impossibilidade de carregar aqui. Érico (talk) 14:38, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

Sim, no caso dessa imagem ela foi carregada sob aquela condição de "produzida pelo governo dos EUA", que atribui domínio público. Enfim, vou utilizar essa imagem mesmo. Preferia a outra por ser uma imagem melhor, mas essa também não é ruim. Como URC acho complicado devido a existência dessa imagem no Commons. Mas isso não importa: tanto as imagens produzidas pelo governo dos EUA quanto a do Flickr, que indicou, estão, teoricamente, adequadas. A questão aqui é a liberdade de panorama. E por que não poderia carregar via URC? Por conta de qual imagem? Érico (talk) 17:29, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

Eu discordo e considero isso um mito mantido e propagado na ptwiki. Ora, se uma imagem não ilustra adequadamente um artigo, uma versão melhor pode ser carregada via URC. Map of Angolan Portuguese dialects

Dear Érico, kindly delete and set in motion the proper procedure for the deletion of this map, created by user PVZ. The map does not correspond with reality, it was mere thumbsuck on the part of said user and I pointed this out on his discussion page at ptwiki a few years back (he is no longer active). I have removed it wherever it wherever I saw it across all projects, but it keeps popping back up every now and again. Thanks for your assistance. Hello, please take a look at this report: Commons:Administrators' noticeboard#Files named with meaningless/disruptive names (motivated renaming was reverted without any valid reason) as these are serious everyday violations of the Commons rules and protection of meaningless names (in this case, Kalumny which translates as Columns). User Kazimier Lachnovič with filemover rights constantly performs violations of the Commons rules, creates instability issues and protects meaningless names, thus creates confusion. His Commons admin rights previously were lifted, but it is clear that it is not enough. -- Pofka (talk) 17:31, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

My team would like to know if it is possible for the top finalist sound logos in the contest to have attribution temporarily hidden from public view until all the votes are final? The idea is to let the public judge the sound logo contestants based on the merit of the logo, not the person or people who made it. Again, any feedback is appreciated.
