English: Media published in the British Brassey's Naval Annual with expired copyright period. Images are sorted by year of publication. The official name from 1886 was The Naval Annual. Generally known as Brassey's Naval Annual, and that title became official in 1914.

In all the early editions, the drawings of ships were provided by F. K. Barnes (Frederick Kynaston Barnes, 1828-1908), who was one of the vice-presidents of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. From 1898, the drawings were handled by Sydney W. Barnaby (1855-1925), son of the Royal Navy constructor Nathaniel Barnaby.

There are scans available at archive.org, covering most years up to 1925. A similar and more extensive collection (but generally scanned to lower standards) can be found at hathitrust.org.

Note: If you wish to extract files from archive.org, a good quality can be obtained by downloading the zip-files containing processed jp2-files. These can be edited with illustration software like the free FastStone Image Viewer.
