English: The Geology of the Karoo comprises rocks and geological features of the mainly semi-arid landscape(s) in South Africa and Lesotho as well as adjoining areas in southern Namibia independent of their geological age. It will not include rocks and geological features outside the so-called Main Karoo Basin, i.e. outcrops in northwestern Namibia, in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and so on!
