Dear all, I would like to propose Wutsje as administrator on Commons, not only because he is incredibly active in marking vandalism/testedits/offtopic-pages for speedy-deletion but also because he has all the qualities I expect from good admins: he is friendly, patient, insightful, objective, sensitive and calm (and very modest). Wutsje is already a sysop in three projects: nl.wiki, fy.wiki and nl.wikimedia, furthermore he is a very active member (one of our best) of the small wiki monitoring-team, where he is reverting/removing spam&vandalism cross-wiki and constructively helping small projects wherever he can, which is why he has global rollback-rights and has a splendid overall picture about ongoing cross-wiki-vandalism, which often involves commons too.
In addition Wutsje brings a very useful set of languages and has my full trust!
Because of his knowledge in crosswiki-counter-vandalism and work on commons as active rc-watcher, I believe he would be a great addition to the commons-admin-team, and I hope others agree with that. Thank You, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 18:10, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- Acceptance
Thank you Spacebirdy. I think I can use this tool (with which I am already quite familiar) very well on Commons too, so I accept this nomination. Wutsje (talk) 18:16, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

- Support Yes. I have some DR concerns, but as with my nom of Kallerna (archive of Kallerna's req). I share the same view as when I supported Kallerna for adminship. --Kanonkas(talk) 18:21, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- What are the "DR concerns"? Majorly talk 18:22, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- The candidate has not participated in deletion requests, which is something I look for when supporting a candidacy for adminship. --Kanonkas(talk) 18:45, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- Support, as proposer, also: not everyone has to be that active in DR to be a good addition to the team, & everything I just said above, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 18:32, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- I agree they do not need DR experience to be a good administrator, but one should at least have some, or something else that shows why they are suited for adminship here. This is solely my personal opinion. --Kanonkas(talk) 18:46, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- You have expressed Your opinion already and I respect it, please respect mine too, because as You can see, I do disagree with it, humbly, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 19:03, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I have and I respect your opinion too. However, I'm just elaborating as to why I voted as such. Nothing with your vote at all. I responded back so you could understand a bit more as to my reasoning. If that makes sense. --Kanonkas(talk) 19:34, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

- Support. Wutsje is a trustworthy user on nl-Wikipedia and won his spurs. He's now moving to Commons as well, and his recent activity shows that he'd be a great addition to the team. m:Mark W (Mwpnl) ¦ talk 00:01, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- Support Seems to like to warn people a lot (and even template the regulars) but some might say that's good thing, so I won't oppose.. Everything else looks good. Rocket000 (talk) 04:43, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
