Cymraeg: Mae Cymru yn gartref i rai o'r ystlumod mwyaf anghyffredin ym Mhrydain, mae'r Ystlum Pedol Mwyaf a'r Ystlum Pedol Lleiaf a'r Ystlum Du wedi'u dynodi dan rwydwaith Natura 2000 o rywogaethau a warchodir Ewropeaidd. Mae 10 safle yng Nghymru wedi cael eu dynodi'n Ardaloedd Cadwraeth Arbennig fel rhan o rwydwaith Natura 2000 i ddiogelu cynefinoedd yr ystlumod anghyffredin hyn, ac mae gwaith ar y gweill ar y safleoedd hyn i reoli'r cynefin ac amddiffyn y rhywogaethau. Mae Rhaglen LIFE Natura 2000 wedi cynhyrchu cynlluniau gweithredu â chostau ar gyfer pob safle Ystlum Natura 2000 yng Nghymru, gan gynllunio i'r dyfodol a helpu i sicrhau arian hollbwysig i'r mamaliaid cyfareddol hyn.
English: Wales is home to some of the rarest bats in Britain, the Greater and Lesser Horseshoe bats and the Barbastrelle Bat are designated under the Natura 2000 network of European protected species. 10 sites in Wales have been designated as Special Areas of Conservation as part of the Natura 2000 network to safeguard the habitats of these rare bats, and work is taking place on these sites to manage the habitat and protect the species. The LIFE Natura 2000 programme has produced costed action plans for every Bat Natura 2000 site in Wales, planning for the future and helping to obtain vital funds for these fascinating mammals.
