- Halsi o Halasi (o Halshi o Halasige, kannada: ಹಳಸಿ) és una vila de l'Índia, al districte de Belgaum a Karnataka, situada a 15" 32' N 74" 36' E, a uns 15 km al sud-est de . La seva fama deriva d'haver estat capital d'una branca de la dinastia Kadamba. Nombrosos temples i monuments es troben a la zona. Fou la segona capital dels Kadambes de Banavasi (la primera capital fou Banavasi) del segle V i capital secundària als segles XI a XIII. El gran temple Bhuvaraha Narasimha té diverses imatges de Varaha, Narasimha, Narayana i Surya. Hi ha també una fortalesa i els temples de Gokarneshswara, Kapileshwara, Swarneshwara i Hatakeshwara. Entre altres monuments cal esmentar els temples de Kalmeswara, Suvarneswara, Ramalingeswara i Bhuvaraha. (ca)

- Halasi (Kannada: ಹಲಸಿ, also Halsi or Halshi, in earlier times also called Halasige or Palasige) is a town in Khanapur Taluk, Belgaum District in Karnataka, India. It is 14 km from Khanapur and about 25 km from Kittur. As known from inscriptions, the ancient name of the town was Palāśikā. A centre of the early Kadamba Dynasty (c. 500), it was a minor capital of the Goa Kadambas (980-1025). The town is notable for a series of medieval temples. The most famous are the Varāha Narasiṃha temple and Suvarṇeśvara temple in the town, and a third temple of Rāmeśvara. On a hill about 1.9 km. south-west of the town is a pilgrimage place known as Rāmatītha. There is also a Jain temple in Halasi as well as mosques and tombs, most notably the Dargah of Hazrat Nūr al-Dīn Shāh Qadri. The Eidgah is located south of the town. (en)
