Welcome

edit

Hello, and welcome to editing Wikipedia. I hope you have a successful time here. However, there are a few points relating to your editing that I thought it might be useful to mention, in the hope it my help you.

  1. Please don't "correct" quotations to what you think they should say, rather than what they actually do say, even if what they say is mistaken. The Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan of 2008 really does say "Provided that no Dzongkhag shall have less than two and more than seven National Assembly constituencies", but in the article List of constituencies of the National Assembly of Bhutan you changed it to say "...less than two and no more than seven..." The original is, of course, mistaken, but it is what the act says, and therefore what the Wikipedia article should quote it as saying.
  2. Be careful about making little slips. For example, in another article you changed "Frere's book Old Deccan Days or Hindoo Fairy Legends, Current in Southern India, Collected From Oral Tradition" to say "books" instead of "book", although only one book is mentioned.
  3. Please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English, and don't try to impose United States English on articles that have no connection to the United States, unless there is a particular good reason to do so in a particular case.

Naturally we all make mistakes, but I hope these few comments will help you to be aware of a few kinds of things to avoid. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:44, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
