University Cup
[edit]The CIAU invited the champions of five conferences to play for the championship. Because the field had increased to five teams, the entrants were sorted according to their overall records. Alberta won the tie-breaker over Sir George Williams for third place. The two lowest-seeded teams played a quarterfinal match to determine the final semifinalist.
