Al Manar Central College is a national school in Galhinna, Kandy. It was founded in 1934.[citation needed] It is among the oldest and most distinguished of the schools in Poojapitiya divisional secretariat.[according to whom?] The school provides both primary and secondary education.
Al Manar Central college has produced many of the undergraduates from Kandy District for local universities annually.[who?]
