The Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT), Cuttack is a state government management institution and the first institute of information technology and management established by the government of Odisha in 1962.[2] It is one of the constituent colleges of BPUT, Rourkela, situated in the city of Cuttack in the eastern part of the state of Odisha, India.
IMIT Cuttack was also known as 'College of Accountancy and Management Studies' (CAMS). This institution is imparting postgraduate degrees in Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Application and MTech which are affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology under AICTE. Admission to the institute is strictly as per the rankings in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination and under the reservation policy as per the Government of Odisha.[3]
Due to the expansion of SCB Medical College and Hospital, its original campus was demolished, and it has since been operating in a rented building.[4][5]
