I wish there was more documentation for the claimed world record throw at the Drake Relays fact, because that aspect is really interesting. Regardless, great work! I fixed numerous errors in this article .... the original was terrible, and flat out screwed up information from the cited sources.

For example - the General was NOT the "commandant" of Fort Sam Houston. There are no "commandants" of US Army Posts. Jark was the "Commanding General of IV Corps and Fort Sam Houston".
