John Symonds
[edit]The "John Symonds" mentioned in the article is obviously a different person from the one that John Symonds now redirects to, as that one died in 1893. -- Antaeus Feldspar 07:24, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- This appears to have been corrected and the former "John Symonds" article moved to John Addington Symonds. Tim Pierce (talk) 03:33, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

A poem by Bax, usually sung as a hymn: "Turn Back O Man Forswear Thy Foolish Ways"
[edit]Bax wrote "Turn Back O Man Forswear Thy Foolish Ways," and its date is often given as 1919. I think it reflects on the immense tragedy of World War I and the nationalism that was a major cause of that war. The Armistice was 100 years ago, on 11/11/2018 -- just 100 years ago. Is this source good enough for Wikipedia? I hope I don't have to do this edit -- I'd be tempted to violate NPOV -- but I hope someone else can. Oaklandguy (talk) 07:44, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
