I am a new contributor here at wikipedia. I created the article "ConCarolinas" in good faith. Most of the article's information I wrote based on my own knowledge (having attended ConCarolinas every year for the last three years). After discovering the possible copyright problem this afternoon, I wrote an email to Ron McClung: the chairman of ConCarolinas (he is also the ConCarolinas webmaster). I have asked him to help me verify that I have not violated their copyrights. And to let me know that if I did, what specifically I need to delete to make it Okay. I am sorry to have caused this controversy. I will try to be more careful in the future. Thank you for your patience. --Vorticity-- 03:59, 30 October 2005
I haven't heard back from Ron McClung yet, but to limit the controversy and help solve this problem I seem to have created, I have written a shorter version of the ConCarolinas article and posted it on the ConCarolinas/temp page. Thus the old article can be allowed to fall away in automatic deletion. Later I will improve and expand the new version of the article. --Vorticity-- 04:25, 30 October 2005
Since Vorticity just appended their user name instead of the standard "~~~~", I thought that those talk entries were new. I've added the date. --Thnidu (talk) 15:47, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
