Is Hamer gay himself?
[edit]I googled the "master gene" quote included in this article, and it's quoted by a whole bunch of conservative websites, mostly linked with reparative therapy. A great many of them cite Hamer as "openly gay" or even a "gay activist." Since there's nothing on it in this article, I'm not sure. I will search for further information. Is this accurate? More than one source would be nice.
Also, where exactly is the quote from? One of his books? I'd like to give an exact source (chapter, page number etc.) and include it in Xq28. LeaHazel : talk : contribs 12:06, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

References
[edit]References to Hamer's scientific articles and related articles in scientific journals have been added. References to newspaper commentaries have been removed since they are less reliable. Please don't cite newspaper articles as if they were scientific pieces. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.50.217.234 (talk) 06:47, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
