Objection to proposed deletion

While it is a semi-professional team (players cannot make a living by playing in the league, their salary in 2016 was approximately 75 USD per game, according to this source), it is part of Mexico's top american football league. Also consider there are several articles on the Wikipedia about other semi-professional or not necessarily professional american football teams from United Kingdom, Poland, Serbia, Romania to name a few.

Plus, the guidelines at WP:GRIDIRON apply, according to the article, for players and head coaches, not teams.
