Proposed merge of Power density with Energy rate density
[edit]Appears to be a duplicate article, in that it covers the same topic. This article gives a better overview than the latter, though it is unclear what the title of the merged article should be. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:01, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- I question whether there is much in energy rate density that is worth merging. The content is largely fluff in the gray areas of marginal science, where grandiose claims about "cosmic evolution" are made, and vague graphs about "rising complexity" are plotted (remember Ray Kurzweil's "countdown to Singularity"?). At least power density is actually about engineering. Oh, and the most cited source was published in a journal that looks ... bad, while the original creator of the page has elsewhere stated that the article on its author Eric Chaisson is

. Rather than "merge", I'd say "kill it with fire". XOR'easter (talk) 18:27, 5 April 2021 (UTC) - Nothing worth merging. Just do a redirect. Or delete outright to get rid of the page history. Tercer (talk) 19:00, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
