  • ... that contestants in the Financial Modeling World Cup solve problems in Microsoft Excel? Source: basically anything, ex PCW, cited under sentence " In each event, competitors solve problems presented as one-to-five-page-long financial modeling case studies with questions at the end, using Microsoft Excel."
    • ALT1: ... that ESPN3 broadcasted a Microsoft Excel esports championship? Source: in the article, "The last three rounds of the FMWC Open competition [...] were broadcasted on ESPN3.", cited to PC Gamer

    • Comment: Please make sure the quality of this article is up to snuff... I've never written any type of similar article before (on events/competitions/etc), and the sources are kind of confusing on some topics (conflating various things, just calling everything "FMWC"), so would appreciate any comments on how to improve or rewrite it.

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Looks good to go and fine compared to other new e-sports competitions. I prefer ALT1, as it highlights the credibility of this competition. SounderBruce 04:03, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

From Australia Or The UK

[edit]

Why does the first paragraph have "Andrew Ngai from Australia," when the 2021 Season section has "Andrew Ngai from the United Kingdom,"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.227.31.76 (talk) 04:08, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing that out, IP. It seems though Ngai represented the UK during the regular season and that battle, he was marked as Australian during the final. I'll go clarify that. eviolite (talk) 04:11, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

would it kill you to describe in some minimal level of detail how this works ? I have no clue remember this is a encylopedia for the general public
