Yankee as an intro for Capp
[edit]Seems very weird to introduce capp as a Yankee first, not something you really ever see people do, especially not with that term, in the US it’d read as mildly derogative, perhaps it was written by someone from the UK? In which case it seems odd to keep it in as slang 2600:4040:11EF:2900:5082:91D4:7945:6909 (talk) 05:20, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
- Let's ask User:Cogitamus Credimus, who added the descriptor "Jewish Yankee" to the intro last month: Tell us why this isn't a superfluous detail that we can delete. Lee Choquette (talk) 14:22, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
Unreleased TV show
[edit]Just in case anyone wants to add it, here is a 1949 newspaper article announcing a Li'l Abner TV series that apparently never saw air. --Nat Gertler (talk) 16:29, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
Inadequate picture
[edit]Seems to be a relatively recent problem with Wikipedia images generally. The image of the comic page is a waste of space, as it is too small to read, and can't be brought up to a readable size. Even zooming on the chrome tab doesn't work—the print is bigger, but too blurry to read. Koro Neil (talk) 05:12, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Propose to remove "in-universe style" tag
[edit]I reviewed the characters section to address the "in-universe style tag, but did not detect many changes were necessary. I changed the title of the section from "Cast" to "Characters," conforming to other comic articles, but otherwise the phrasing seemed appropriately deferential to the fictional nature of the subject. Unless someone disagrees, I propose the tag be removed at this time. Baltarstar (talk) 18:15, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
