Merger proposal

I propose to merge Water Conservation Area 1 into Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. They are the same place - WCA1 is leased to the federal government to be managed as Loxahatchee NWR. Fredlyfish4 (talk) 12:47, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that merging the two articles is a terrible idea. The aims of the South Florida Water Management District to turn this Wildlife Refuge into a toxic dumping ground is more palatable when this beautiful nature preserve is referred to synonymously with "Water Conservation Area 1". Support merge, as they discuss the same place. Political expediency shouldn't prevent a merge of synonymous pages. The specific merge resason is overlap. Klbrain (talk) 16:05, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
