The following is clearly false, part of a Comics Journal 25th anniversary prank
[edit]"Groth met Catron when they both played for the 1975 Buffalo Bills. Catron was a "railroad buff", [1] and "fought hard" for a heavily illustrated magazine featuring detailed profiles of railroad employees and "excerpts from defunct line timetables" [1], but conceded to Groth that a magazine of comic book criticism was a "bigger potential loser" [1]. -- stoshmaster (talk) 03:36, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
