Merge
[edit]I completed the merge as decided in its deletion discussion. -- Avi 18:31, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Volume Logic Section
[edit]I still think this section reads too much like an ad, and could use a re-write. -- Avi 18:31, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Technology incorporated includes multi-band dynamics processing, and real-time spectral balancing. Version 1.3 incorporates new presets as well as the Plantronics branding.

I added that it has been discontinued (see information here), but haven't changed the style as the above discussion suggests. — Stimpy talk 15:41, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Plantronics
[edit]This page isn't of very high quality, and some of the text seems, as Avi states above, rather ad-ish. I'll re-write it if nobody steps up to the plate in the next few weeks.
SPENCOMM
[edit]I found a 1964 company brochure on SPENCOMM -- it was spelled it with a double M, so I corrected the spelling on this page. JFGerhardt 23:01, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Poly: Plantronics + Polycom
[edit]While Plantronics has rebranded to reflect the dual heritage of Plantronics and Polycom, it continues to trade on the NYSE as Plantronics, Inc. (PLT). It is not clear if it will continue to trade as Plantronics Inc. or if it will also continue to be legally known as Plantronics, Inc. In addition to trading on the NSE as Plantronics, Inc. (PLT), its legal name continues to be Plantronics, Inc. per:[1], where it includes the definition:
- "Poly" shall mean Plantronics, Inc.
Of course, there remains the possibility that it will change its legal name in due course. If that happens, then we will need to rename the page and add redirect from Plantronics to Poly. Right now, Poly (company) redirects to Plantronics.

- I would note that now in 2022 the company is trading on the NSE as "Poly" and has changed its website and logo to completely be "Poly". The "Plantronics" name can be found nowhere except in legal documents (example privacy policy). The logo shown on this Wikipedia article is no longer used and should be replaced by the Poly logo. At a larger level, is it time to update this page as mentioned above to change to 'Poly'? It seems to me that it is. - Dyork (talk) 20:34, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
