Merge with Fey

[edit]

I don't think a merge with Fey is a good idea. This page is an excellent start for a D&D creature page, we need to let it grow. - Peregrine Fisher 20:02, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm far less passionate about merging this article into the Fey article than I was regarding deleting it. I don't really care, but if it's a choice between the two, I say leave it as is. I agree with Peregrine Fisher that it's a good start for a D&D creature page. BOZ 03:43, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm pretty much with Boz on this one.--Robbstrd 21:50, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Satyr as a playable character

[edit]

While it is true that a player can play a Satyr, they are not necessarily a player race by any normal means. Furthermore, the reference citing them as a playable race has nothing to do with Dungeons & Dragons, and is a reference on how to LARP as a Satyr. --Sakaki22 (talk) 20:12, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PC1: Tall Tales of the Wee Folk (a Basic D&D supplement, published by TSR in 1989, ISBN 0-88038-760-2) included explicit rules for satyrs as a player character race. The book as a whole is about player character rules for woodland creatures and faeries, with a specific section covering satyrs (pages 11 to 13, "Fauns"). -Stelio (talk) 07:59, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
