Modern uniform
[edit]It's going to be very difficult to reach a consensus on this section - from experience of the main School Uniform article everyone has different opinions on what they believe to be the case, and real statistics seem impossible to come by. From my experience of the state system (which I completed in 2003) in London, most comprehensive secondary schools have a uniform from ages 11-16 (of the polo shirt, sweatshirt, skirt/trousers variety), while primary and post-16 education does not have uniforms. But I'm aware that others have had different experiences in different areas. Marthiemoo (talk) 13:44, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
merged into School uniform
[edit]There is no need for this page, since there is already a UK section at School uniform. Alarics (talk) 15:18, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
This page is needed as it can provide a indepth history and cut down the size of the main page article. I will work more on this in the next few eeks.
making major change
[edit]I've just come across this article while I was about to create an article about school uniforms in the United Kingdom, having already created one about school uniforms in England based on information in the 'school uniforms' article. It appears that this article contains the same material as I have placed in the School uniforms in England article so I will delete the information here and make this page one that links to the other articles. Hope that satisfies everyone! Cheers Fishiehelper2 (talk) 19:50, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
