25? Really?

Not Jewish
[edit]In a recent article in the observer magazine he specifically commented on how people often assume he is jewish. --46.208.66.52 (talk) 20:38, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
- Link please? He does look like he is Jewish. Not that I have anything against Jews, but he does look like he is, especially compared to the other guys in The Inbetweeners who look much more 'typically' ordinary white English guys.--Q-Jux Q-Jux Q-Jux (talk) 23:42, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- He isn't Jewish. This is even stated in the Wikipedia article, for some reason, and cited. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 05:18, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Gay?
[edit]From what I understand, Simon isn't gay. As noted in an interview on E4 (also on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=by63_jJBlVw&NR=1, indicating he was dating a girl called Lisa at the time of the interview. I can't seem to edit the article to remove the reference.--Hecmail (talk) 16:00, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
I agree. Someone did the same to the Joe Thomas page a little while ago. I'll try and reverse the edit. 129.67.176.186 (talk) 20:12, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Disambiguation page
[edit]Someway to distinguish him from this Simon Bird, perhaps? VarunRajendran (talk)
- This one wouldn't currently pass WP:NMUSIC so we don't need a disamb page. If that changes then we will. Manning (talk) 07:48, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Children
[edit]I've removed the part of the article about his daughter and the infobox saying 2 children, as I have been unable to prove either of these things. Many sources (including such verboten nonsense as the Mail and the Sun, but other more reliable sources too) say he had a son who was six months old in July 2016. The Grauniad says he had a daughter in December 2015. The Graun includes a quote from him saying he has a daughter... but in a jokey tone.
I can't find any source saying he has two children (perhaps this is from someone adding the Graun's daughter and the Sun's son and getting two).
Since this is a BLP, our policy is "if in doubt, leave it out". So I've left it out. ◦ Trey Maturin 16:43, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
- Found an interview with the i Paper from 2020, describing him as a father of two. (https://inews.co.uk/culture/simon-bird-interview-days-of-the-bagnold-summer-release-date-book-the-inbetweeners-433875) Samuel J Walker (talk) 22:28, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
