[edit]

I deleted the actress's birth name and date of birth from the introduction as its there in the info box and someone again put it back on. I deleted it because there is no need to have an information in so many places. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ssaa08 (talkcontribs) 08:36, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Born in 1972??

[edit]

It is comical to see Movie actresses claiming ridiculously low ages and people posting them on pages with no regard to "common sense".

Her first movie Mundhanai Mudichu - where she is an adult - was released in 1984, which would have been filmed from 1983 onwards. If she was born in 1972, she was 11 years old when she was signed on for this movie and acted in it. Please!

Same with Meena's page. They had a year of birth which would have her as 10 years old when she played Rajini's wife in Yajaman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shvushvu (talkcontribs) 21:32, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article has her as b. 1969 now, which wouldn't seem to improve matters much with regard to her age in her first movie, as she would have been 14! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.76.83 (talk) 02:41, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Talk shows

[edit]

In this edit I deleted the "Other shows" section because it appears to be a giant wall of mostly talk-show appearances and other trivial guest appearances that someone has been manically tracking. It just bloats out this entire page for no good reason. This is beyond the scope of what the community cares about for filmography sections. Generally speaking, we only care about when the actor is appearing in some sort of entertainment capacity. Acting work, singing or performing maybe. If they were a contestant on a reality show, that's fine. If they were a judge on a reality show, probably, depending on context. But simply sitting down on a chit-chat show is not something we should be logging. WP:NOTINDISCRIMINATE. Actors have to go on talk shows to promote things. It's a mundane part of their job and is not noteworthy. The contributor(s) should look at some quality filmographies at WP:FL. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:55, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
