Please stick with the known fact that it is a debatable issue. And refrain from using terms like "almost certainly". I am fine with the change because it leaves Kaneikapolei as the mother without presenting who was the father. The line between her and Kalaniopuu should be removed to since it makes no sense to show her union with him but not Kamehameha. --KAVEBEAR (talk) 16:34, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
- I don't have to refrain from using ANY such terms. I have not used them in the actual tree and the fact is, yes most main stream academics do say that it is most likely that Kalaniopuu was the father. However we do know for a fact that Kanekapolei was married to Kalaniopuu and that should be shown. A disclaimer in the box of Pauli can make the information more clear.--Mark Miller (talk) 00:51, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
