Why Bald Zebra? Well, I'm a Zebra who doesn't have much hair. Also known as Amir, BAFRA member #593, Chief Seagull, formerly known here as Bettia and the founder of a nation of the same name (which was named after my wife 'cos I'm sweet like that), I'm a sporadically active user on Wikipedia who was made an administrator at the second time of asking.
My duties and areas of work on Wikipedia are wide and varied, usually according to what mood I'm in. As far as article-building goes, I have been mostly active on the sports front. With some help from others, I managed to get Andover F.C. up to Good Article standard. I have also created and expanded a number of articles relating to the American football scene here in the UK, including the List of American football teams in the United Kingdom, which took a hell of a lot of work. I have also made a number of contributions to Cardiff and Radyr and the hope that these too can be raised up to at least GA-standard.
I am an member of a number of Wikiprojects and am particularly active in Wikiproject Football, where I participate in AfD discussions and the occasional bit of caretaking. I sometimes indulge in a spot of vandal-patrolling and occasionally give a third opinion. As an administrator, I often find myself trying to clear the always-crowded list of candidates for speedy deletion.
