[[Al-Anfal_Campaign|Al-Anfal]] Campaign (by Saddam Hussein and the Baath party) and its Effects on the disturbance of the victim [[1]] Families: [[2]] is the base of the community, each family in the community is under the effects of the norms of the community it exists in, Norms of the communities are not alike according to the religion and geographical location. the kurdish community (which is to certain degree is a religious community)is mostly bounded to the Islamic religion and mostly men (male members of the family) are the guardian of the family who are responsible for managing family affairs and providing the family needs. it is true to state that the women are a real associates with the men in family affairs, but in the villages (where the Al-Anfal Campaign) took place mostly, the men were considered as the head of the family. today within the victims of the AL-Anfal, another tragedy is facing those families, this tragedy is the destruction of the family system within the kurdish community because since most of the men who were the guardians of their own families became the primary victim of the Al-Anfal campaign. there are families were the only survivors of the Al-Anfal campaign are the orphan children. its a rare thing in Kurdish families to have a single gender family members, but for now due to the Al-Anfal campaign there are families which consists of only women, and female kids without any parents nor male members of their family (brothers). still there is families who are waiting for their family members (for their remains).
