Disingenuous Twaddle, or DISINGENUOUS TWADDLE::, is an experimental language and art magazine based in the University of London. It was created in 2010 by Lucy Hunt and Kris Khadem, two students of Royal Holloway College, for the purpose of showcasing the work of students of the University of London colleges. It has since extended to incorporate work from the wider public. It is primarily a web-based publication, with a monthly paper counterpart forming from the most popular posted pieces. Content includes verse poetry, prose poetry, poetic translations, short fiction, flash fiction, nanofiction, nonfiction, illustration, photography, painting, sound art (or sonic art), thoughts and experiments. It is born of the tradition of the Language poets, a rubric led by Gertrude Stein and Louis Zukofsky, and follows in the vein of L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E Magazine, edited by Bruce Andrews and Charles Bernstein.
