Thank you! (I guess). I didn't realize there was some meaning to being red. If you really want to help, help save my aritcle scientist fun from deletion. I'm curious as to how this "award" changes me to un-red.

A username without a user page appears red, just as a link to an article that doesn't exist. By giving you an award, they effectively created a User:Synaptidude page, so the link for your username was no longer red - but blue (like a working article).
